This past Saturday the Wolfpack dancers had their annual fundraiser/showcase. You will know the Wolfpack dancers from halftime performances at both football and basketball games. This showcase also brought in elementary and middle school dancers here to WOU to dance and show everyone what kinds of dances they are all about. I’m pretty sure it was an all day practice sort of thing where they come in the morning and work on routines up until the afternoon where they show the public.
There were some pretty good dances and in between them the MC would introduce some of the current dance team members and talk a little about them and talked a little about who they were and where they came from.
I’m not an expert in dance routines at all and I probably won’t be. The middle school and elementary school performances however were pretty good. Not as good as the Wolfpack dancers but I think they have some potential. They wore almost matching outfits like the WOU dancers too.
The Dance team brought together a lot of great things to auction off, A movie night basket, a kids toys basket, a hair-care set for the ladies (or some guys), and also a board game set. You really missed out if you didn’t get a raffle ticket. Your chances of winning were pretty high. One of the winners was SO excited when she won, sprinting to get her prize.

At the end of the showcase the Dance team coach Tehreanna Marquez recognized the seniors as well as some of the dancers came out and thanked her for all she’s done throughout this year and gave her a bouquet of flowers.
