I am thankful for my family. I am thankful for my parents for being creative and tenacious entrepreneurs. I am thankful for my boyfriend. I am thankful that I get to study music and share it with my friends. I am thankful to have a roof over my head, a bed to sleep in, and clothes to keep me warm. I am thankful for my talents and for those who have helped me to cultivate them. I am thankful for sticky buns and coffee with cream. I am thankful for all the opportunities I have been given. I am thankful for the beauty I experience everyday living in Oregon. I am thankful for everyone who spreads love and acceptance in the world.

I’m thankful for my girlfriend, she motivates me to be the very best that I can be in everything that I do. I’m thankful for my family that has been with me from the start. I’m thankful for the opportunity that I have been given to attend college, to be able to broaden my knowledge and gain new skills to pursue a degree in economics. I’m thankful for the experiences that I have had, including a year abroad in Germany, it opened my eyes to a bigger world and adventures in Alaska, I believe that one of the keys to happiness  in life is to travel. I’m thankful for my ADHD, it has put all sorts of hurdles in my way of life, but it just makes me more proud of myself for everything that I have accomplished. I’m thankful for my heritage, being Koyukon Athabascan.  I’m thankful for breakfast food, “Why would anybody ever eat anything besides breakfast food?”- Leslie Knope. I’m thankful for coffee, the gift that keeps on giving.

I am thankful for my family, and my friends who have become family. Having the support system that I do has been amazing throughout my life. I am thankful for my dog, Tucker–he’s the best. I am thankful to have had the opportunity to live on both coasts of the United States, and I am extra thankful that I just so happened to move to the most beautiful part of the West Coast, Oregon. I am thankful to go to such a great university located in an amazing small community. I am thankful to be healthy, and happy with my life and the direction its going. I cannot leave out how thankful I am for good music, good food, and good times with family and friends not only throughout the holiday season, but all year round.
