Western Oregon University will be hosting the 48th Annual Holiday Tree Lighting on Friday, December 4, 2015. The activities kick off at 6:00 pm with a holiday parade, which leaves from the Monmouth Library. At 7:00 pm, attendees can enjoy a local school choir concert, drink wine and listen to music at the historic Gentle House, take pictures with Santa, and eat cookies during the Holiday Cookie Bake-off.

On Saturday, December 5th, the community is invited back to WOU for Warm Up Winter Bingo at the Werner University Center at 7:00 pm. Finally, the Western Hemisphere Orchestra will perform “The Music of Duke Ellington” at Rice Auditorium at 7:30 pm.
