Western Oregon University’s campus acapella clubs, 15 Miles West & Suspended, have released a music video for the holidays.  “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” is now available for viewing on YouTube. The video was a creative collaboration between the WOU men’s and women’s acapella clubs, led by Grant Harris.  “We wanted to get more publicity for the clubs and Christmas is traditionally a good time to release new music,” said Harris.  When researching holiday music, Harris discovered only a few acapella versions of “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” and so it was chosen for the video.  The song was arranged by 15 Miles West member Eli Schenk and recorded by Harris.  The video was shot and edited by Jeff Collet, a WOU visual communication design major with production assistant Ryan McGlinchey.  15 Miles West is Harris, Schenk, Christoper Frost, J.D Queja and David Takano.  Suspended is Maddie Brockman, Sydney Culpepper, Hannah Hazelwood, Lauren Hebring, Makenzi Higinbothem, Jen Lindley, Bria Maskovich, Tia Singletary, Meghann Thilberg, Caitlin Tolleson, Violet Trammel and Brianna Williford.
