This week the Cannon Gallery of Art in Campbell hall will be opening its first exhibition of the year titled “Whomever Brought Me Here is Going to Have to Take me Home.” This exhibition is full of paintings from Tim Timmerman who has been an artist starting from a very young age. Timmerman continued his art education into college eventually ending up with his Master of Fine Arts at Washington State University. He now teaches at George Fox University and has been since 2003. During his career he has had over 20 solo exhibitions and has participated in over 50 invitational, juried, and group exhibitions.

His artwork is very unique and ranges through different mediums though the exhibit on display is all paintings he does explore into drawing, digital art and sculpture, just to name a few. Timmerman’s art is created to provoke emotions and display what makes us human. If something in the gallery strikes your interest you can find more sample of his work on his website.
If you miss this exhibition then don’t fear, this is the first of many exhibitions happening this year in the Cannon Gallery. Here is a list off all of the exhibitions till the end of the year. So be on the lookout for new exhibits!
