This is a summary of our Oct. 1, 2020 live Q&A session. We host these live Q&A’s for current students, incoming students and family members on WOU’s Instagram and Facebook accounts every Thursday at 10 a.m. The next session is Thursday, Oct. 8.

 

How soon will a decision be made on winter term being online? Will it affect deadlines to a pply for housing winter term?
We plan to have information about winter term prior to winter term registration. Housing will have the winter housing reservation form available in a week or so. You can then make a reservation for winter term, and placements will be made over winter break.

 

Are ACT/SAT scores needed for high school senior applicants?
Admissions is test optional. Anyone above a 3.0 isn’t required to submit test scores for admission.

 

What is the “online course fee” on my billing statement?
As of this academic year, there is now a single tuition rate for in-person and online classes (previously online classes had a higher tuition rate). Both on-line and in-person classes have fees. Fees are currently based on the way a course is delivered.

 

Is Homecoming happening this year?
WOU Alumni is planning virtual events and our Student Activities Board is currently discussing opportunities for Homecoming. As information is available, it will be posted at wou.edu/homecoming.
