It’s Go Time!
We’ve received notification from Polk County Health that the vaccination clinic in the Pacific Room of the WUC has lots of vaccines available to anyone 18 and older who wants one. They currently are giving Pfizer vaccines, but if you’ve already gotten a first Moderna shot, they can get you that second shot as well.
Sign up here: https://mychart.salemhealth.org/mychart/covid19/#/. If you are close to campus, there is a sign outside the door that indicates whether walk-ins are being taken, so check that out, too. Second shots are usually available on a walk-in basis. The clinic is open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and the shots are free. Identification and insurance are not required.
Added bonus: Coupons for 25% off any one item at the Wolfstore are available at the clinic. Exclusions apply.
As Western continues planning for a mostly in-person fall term, it is vital that our campus community members are fully vaccinated (both shots!) We encourage you to do your part in keeping our campus safe and helping us get back to the WOU experience we know and love!
Great article, Thanks for sharing such wonderful content.
So as of now, are COVID-19 vaccines still free? My mother is over the age of 65 and is concerned she might get it. Hopefully, she can get vaccinated and boosted.
