Why did you choose WOU?

WOU was local, online, affordable, and had the exact degree I was looking for!

Do you have any advice for current and prospective students?

I can only speak for my own experience, but spending some purposeful time thinking about what I wanted to achieve by getting another degree helped me to feel motivated to finish and push through when I was very tired or working through coursework I found less interesting.

What is the biggest lesson you have learned throughout your time at WOU?

Having subject matter experts at WOU has been great, but the community of learning that exists at WOU has been even more valuable. I will look for communities of learning in any future jobs.

What has been the highlight of your time at WOU?

The opportunities for hands-on job practice have been extremely valuable.

Who stands out from your time at WOU and why?

My academic advisor, Dr. Gregory Zobel, has been critical to my completion of my program. Thanks, GZ! Your dogs enhance every Zoom call!

What will you miss the most about WOU?

Not much, [because] I will be working with WOU over the summer!

What do you love most about the major/minors you completed?

I think that my program has a carefully considered balance of theory and practical knowledge.

What has been your biggest achievement, success or accomplishment in college?

Finishing my last literature review. So. Many. Sources.

What are your plans for after graduation?

A nap. A very, very long nap.
